anyIP introduced a new user Dashboard called Dashboard V2. All of your proxies will continue to function, but the pages have been moved. Common tasks you used to perform will now be located in different areas. This article contains a location map for each action moved from the old to the new dashboard. You cannot switch back to the old dashboard.
Your existing proxy usernames and passwords still work. As long as you do not change the proxy user password, the credentials you created before the update continue to connect. You do not have to recreate anything to keep using a proxy you already had.

Rollback is not supported

This dashboard has been disabled. You will not be able to return to this dashboard. If you are looking for a specific action, please refer to the map below or reach out to Support from your dashboard and explain what you would like to do.

How proxy users and profiles fit together

A proxy user (also called a team member) is a set of proxy credentials on your account. Every profile is created from a proxy user, and the Proxy List Generator in a profile produces the individual proxy lines.
  • All proxy users share the bandwidth of the same main account.
  • A proxy user is not a separate dashboard account and cannot log in to the dashboard.
  • The state of a proxy user applies to every profile created from it. If the proxy user is disabled or its password changes, all of its profiles are affected.
See Quick Start for the full explanation.

Create a proxy profile

In Dashboard V2 you create a proxy profile instead of generating a standalone node.
  1. Open the Proxies page.
  2. Click + Add Profile.
  3. Configure the profile using the form: name, proxy type, location, and the other options. To get IPs from one country, select that country in the location settings. Without a country, the profile is not restricted to a single country.
  4. Use the right column to set how many proxies you need, the delimiter, and other options.
  5. Click Save profile. You can then export or copy your credentials.
You can also create a profile directly at https://anyip.io/account/proxies/create. For a walkthrough, see the video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvaBE4rYKCk.

Find your credentials and ports

Your proxy details live inside each profile.
  1. Open the Proxies page.
  2. Click the profile you want to use.
  3. Scroll down to the proxy details to see the username, password, ports, and the proxy list.
There will not be a separate email containing the proxy list. Your credentials will always be located in the dashboard under your profile. When you enter the credentials in an app with separate fields, use:
  • Host: portal.anyip.io
  • Port: 1080
  • Username: the full proxy username from the profile, including all the flags
  • Password: your proxy password
Copy the full username. A value such as user_XXXX on its own does not carry the location or session settings from the profile, and a value without the user_ prefix is rejected. See Quick Start for the full URL, separate field, and list line formats.

Use the Proxy List Generator

The Proxy List Generator produces multiple proxies from one profile. You do not need a separate profile for every IP.
  1. Make sure you are on the Proxies page.
  2. Click the profile you want to use.
  3. Find the Proxy Generator in the profile.
  4. Set the number of proxies to the count you need, for example 10.
  5. Choose the list view, then copy or paste as many profiles as you need. Select mobile if you want mobile IPs.
Each line in the list is unique because each one uses a different session name, and each proxy username gets a unique IP. The trailing number in a generated username is just an incrementing label; the full session value is what makes each proxy unique, so the lines are not duplicates even when only the last characters differ. Each line in the list uses the host:port:username:password format, for example:
Copy/Paste the lines below into proxy list importing tools. The list line is not a command, so it will not function if you paste into a terminal or CMD directly. Refer to the Shell command below to perform command line tests. Each line is unique because each line contains a different session name. The number appended to a generated username will increment, it’s just a label. The entire session value is what makes each proxy unique so the lines are not duplicates even if they only differ by last characters.
Generated proxies still need an active plan and an active proxy userThe generator produces valid-looking lines even when your account cannot connect. If the generated proxies do not work, confirm that your subscription is active, that you have GB remaining, and that the proxy user linked to the profile is not disabled. Renew at https://anyip.io/account/plans. See Billing & Data for the difference between a top-up and a renewal.

Copy a test command

Each profile includes code samples that already contain its credentials.
  1. Open the Proxies page.
  2. Click the profile you want to use.
  3. Scroll down to the last section and select </> Code.
  4. Select Shell and copy the command.
The Shell command has this form:
On Windows, press Windows + R, type cmd, click OK, paste the full command starting with curl, and press Enter. Wait until the command finishes before reading the result. For what to check if it fails, see Quick Start.

Get a new or different IP

There is no need to create another profile for a different IP. Rotate session to refresh your proxy session for a new IP and keep the rest of your configuration.

Change the session name

Edit the value of session_xxx in your proxy user name. Every time you use a new session value you will get a different IP. Ex:
to:
When creating a batch if you find duplicate IPs edit the session prefix at the bottom of the profile. Altering one character will create new proxies.

Use the IP change URL

Enable IP change URL to rotate your IP without editing config.
  1. Open the Proxies page.
  2. Click the profile you want to use.
  3. Scroll to the last section and turn on Use IP change URL.
  4. Find the URL in the table below that option.
The new IP keeps the same selected parameters, such as country, region, ASN, and proxy type, subject to availability. For the URL format and how to call it, see Sticky vs. Rotating Sessions.

Choose residential or mobile

Attach a flag to your username to pick the network type:
  • type_residential for residential IPs.
  • type_mobile for mobile IPs.
If you do not add a type_ flag, the network assigns residential or mobile automatically. See Network Types for the trade-offs and Location Targeting for targeting a country such as the United States.

Add GB (top up)

To add bandwidth to your current plan:
  1. Click the + Top up button next to your profile menu.
  2. Choose the amount of GB and your payment method.
  3. Review your order and click Make payment. Your account is then credited.
A top-up adds GB but does not extend your renewal date. To extend your subscription time, renew instead. See Billing & Data for the rules on top-up versus renew and rollover.

Activate a disabled proxy user

A proxy user can appear as disabled. A disabled proxy user cannot connect, and no traffic is consumed through it. Any profile built from it fails the connection test even when your account still has data and the proxy line looks correct. If a profile stops working while your plan is active, check the status of the proxy user it was created from.
  1. Open the Proxies page.
  2. Go to the Proxy users tab.
  3. Open the option menu for the proxy user.
  4. Activate or disable the proxy user as needed.
Once activated, every profile created from that proxy user works. A proxy user cannot be deleted, the same as in the previous dashboard; you can disable it or change its password instead.

Change a proxy user password

Changing the password revokes access right away for anyone still using the old credentials. Use it if you think someone else is using your proxies.
  1. Open the Proxies page.
  2. Go to the Proxy users tab.
  3. Select the proxy user you want to update and edit it.
  4. Set the new password and save the changes.
The new password applies to every profile previously created with that proxy user. Update the password in each app that uses those profiles, or they stop connecting.

Set a traffic limit for a proxy user

  1. Open the Proxy users tab at https://anyip.io/account/proxies/users.
  2. Hover over the proxy user until the three dots appear, then click Edit.
  3. Set the traffic limit for the selected proxy user and save.
Traffic limits, disabling, and password changes apply to a whole proxy user. You cannot block a single generated proxy line or a specific domain while other lines from the same proxy user keep working. To control usage separately, give each person or project its own proxy user.

Find your previous proxy users and history

Your existing proxy users are on the Proxy users tab of the Proxies page. Profiles you create in Dashboard V2 are stored, so you can view them again later. The previous dashboard did not keep a stored history of created proxies, so profiles created before the update are not listed as history; the proxy users themselves remain and keep working.

Delete a profile

  1. On the Proxies page, open the menu on the profile you want to remove.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm by clicking Delete profile.
Deleting a profile will remove it from your list. Delete a profile if you want to stop reusing IPs from that profile.

Still stuck?

If you cannot find where an action moved, contact support from the dashboard and describe the exact step. For connection errors after migrating, see Troubleshooting. For login and account access, see Account Access Troubleshooting.
